Phil first deejayed at the sadly-missed East London bar The Pleasure Unit in 2004 and was immediately hooked. He began putting a night out in the following year and with the help of a couple of friends the Sweet but Deadly collective was born, which has morphed from hobby to full-time pursuit.
This had given him the cursed vinyl addiction - a 45 collection currently consists of 3000+ records. His tastes encompass the full ’50s and ’60s sounds - expect to hear at Blast-Off some tasty garage, rockabilly, surf, freakbeat, blue-eyed soul, psych, and more!

Andy has been deejaying for over 20 years both in the UK and abroad. Currently he runs two nights in Brighton: Mojo To Go Go (since 2005) and co-hosting the Hideout, a 60s garage night.
He collects ’60s garage 45's as well as surf, trash and greasy rockers. He's happy trawling record shops and the net for new gems, all on vinyl, off course! His heroes are all the bands that recorded ’60s garage but don’t get the recognition they truly deserve.

It began as a night where they started to play the records they loved and it quickly became the night it is now.  Scotland's only dedicated 60s psych and garage club. This year they have taken a bit of a leap, and set up EWO Records, releasing the debut single for Swedish psych legends in the making, Teaspoon.  And they are also putting on their first weekender - Double Sight, which is taking place on the 7th-9th October in venues throughout Glasgow.  "It's always great to be invited to DJ further afield, and we're really looking forward to playing some records at Blast Off!, and of course see some ace bands!"
